MO’s new "Data Transfer" function may help!

"Data Transfer" lets MO users share their spare data with each other. So the next time when you find yourself running low, just count on a MO user around you!

Terms and Conditions for Data Transfer Service:

  1. Data Transfer Service is only applicable to the customer who has subscribed MO DIY Local Data Monthly Plan (apply to both the transferor and the recipient). (Not applicable to the customer with standard data monthly plan and Travel MO SIM).
  2. Data Transfer Service applies to transfer local data, social data and travel day pass only.
  3. The received local data, social data and travel day pass cannot be retransferred to other customers or restored.
  4. If the customers have its own entitlement under data plan and the received local data, social data, the received local data and social data will have first priority to be charged over the own entitlement of data plan.
  5. The amount of data to be transferred in each transaction should be the multiples of 0.5GB. Customer is required to have at least 0.5GB as a prerequisite condition to transfer data to other customer.
  6. Local data and social data received under the Data Transfer Service is required to be used on or before every billing date. The unused data will be forfeited in next bill cycle without any prior notice.
  7. The validity date of the travel day pass will not be changed after being transferred and required to be used on or before validity date. Otherwise, all remaining Day Passes will become invalid and a refund will not be given.
  8. The Travel Day Pass with the soonest expiry date will have first priority to be deducted when day pass is consumed regardless whether the day pass is received from another customers or top up by the customer itself.
  9. All service contents, data usage and data transfer are based on our records. If have any questions, please contact us. We shall have the final decision in case of any dispute.
  10. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of the above terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
